Send a group quote by text.
Tarn prices the trip while you're still on the phone, and you send the group a link to pay. Their first payment confirms the booking.
Pick the trip, date, and party size, and the quote shows the total and any deposit due. Send it by text, by email, or as a link to paste anywhere.
What happens when they pay
The confirmation, waiver links, and reminders go out on their own. If you didn't have the payer's name and email, Tarn fills them in.
Quick phone bookings
New Booking needs just a first name and a phone number or email. If it would overbook the trip, Tarn warns you and lets you decide.
Website questions become bookings
Questions from your website land in one Inquiries list with the guest's dates, group size, and message. Convert to Booking fills it all in for you.
- Walk-ins booked from your phone
- Inquiry-only activities, for trips you'd rather talk through first
- Inquiry statuses: New, Contacted, Converted, and Closed
- Every text and email logged on the booking
- You can only text a quote to a guest who asked for one, so there's a checkbox to confirm it. Every text ends with 'Reply STOP to opt out.'
- You reply to inquiries from your own email, so the thread lives in your inbox, not in Tarn.
What if two groups want the same slot?
Quote both, since neither one holds seats. The first deposit takes the spots, and you can move the other quote to another departure.
Can a quote include a deposit?
Yes. If the activity has Require Deposit on, the quote shows what's due to confirm, and the guest can pay just that. Without a deposit, any payment confirms it.
Do phone bookings respect the online cutoff?
No, on purpose. Cutoffs only stop online bookings close to departure, so your office can still book a last-minute seat.
