Every departure running today shows its gauge reading, the trend, and the weather at the put-in. You make the call; Tarn shows the numbers.
Open the dashboard and the morning's conditions are already there: the flow in CFS from the USGS gauge you chose, whether it's rising or falling, and the temperature and sky at the meeting spot, refreshed every half hour. Each activity also carries its meeting address, a map link, and instructions, so guests and guides get the same directions from the same source.
Pick the gauge once
On the activity's Details tab, enter the USGS site number under Live Conditions. Tarn checks it as you type and shows the gauge name, the current flow, and the trend. Leave it blank for activities that don't need it.
Weather follows the meeting spot
There's no separate weather setup. Tarn reads the forecast at the activity's meeting coordinates, so the reading matches where the van actually stops.
On the dashboard, every 30 minutes
The conditions strip shows each feed's flow, trend with the 24-hour change, gauge name, weather, and an 'as of' time. Activities that share a gauge and a put-in show once. A stale gauge says Gauge offline instead of guessing.
One directions link, everywhere
Set Meeting Address, paste a Google or Apple Maps link, or enter coordinates; Tarn prefers the link, then the coordinates, then the address. The same Get Directions button appears in the confirmation, the reminder, the Manage booking page, and the guide's manifest.

- Conditions are readings, not a verdict. Tarn never says a river is runnable.
- Flow comes from USGS gauges, so it covers US rivers. There are no lake, tide, or snow feeds today.
- Conditions show on the operator dashboard for activities running today. They aren't sent to guests.
Which rivers are supported?
Any with a USGS gauge. Enter the site number and Tarn reads the flow and trend from it. If your stretch has no gauge, leave it blank; weather still works from the meeting coordinates.
Do guests see the conditions?
No. The dashboard is yours. Guests get the meeting spot and directions in their emails and on their Manage booking page.
How current is the reading?
Tarn refreshes every 30 minutes and stamps each reading with an 'as of' time. If a gauge stops reporting for more than 90 minutes, the strip shows Gauge offline with the last reading.
