Price it the way you actually sell it.
Per-person rates with group breaks, a weekend rate, flat-priced private options, and deposits, on a schedule you set once per season and adjust per departure.
Outfitter pricing isn't one number. Tarn starts with an adult and youth rate, adds group breaks by party size, a weekend rate if Saturdays cost more, and flat-priced options for the private boat or the whole canyon. Availability is a season schedule: departure times, each with its own capacity, days, and cutoff. Then you change capacity for one Saturday from the calendar without touching the season.
Base rates and group breaks
Set an adult price and an optional youth price. Turn on Group Discounts and add a price break per party-size range; the whole party gets the band its size lands in. Youth stay at the youth price.
Weekend pricing
Switch on Weekend Pricing and enter the Saturday and Sunday adult rate. Your group breaks scale to match, so you don't enter them twice.
Flat-priced options
Booking Options sell alongside the per-person rate: a flat price, the guests included, the price per extra guest, and the seats the option reserves, so a private raft takes the whole boat off sale.
Deposits and policy per activity
Require Deposit as a percentage or fixed amount, with a full-payment window near departure. Set the cancellation policy's full, partial, and no-refund windows and see exactly what customers will read.
A season in one schedule
Add Schedule with a start and end date, departure times, each with its own capacity, days of the week, and cutoff in hours. Add Days off. Stack schedules for shoulder season hours.
Change one departure
From the calendar, open a departure and edit its capacity. An Override badge shows the schedule default. Reset puts it back. Live vs Visible to customers controls whether an activity sells, shows, or takes inquiries only.
- Adult and youth rates, tax rate per activity
- Group discounts by party size
- Weekend pricing
- Flat-priced booking options with reserved seats
- Custom price and discount on any booking
- Deposits: percentage or fixed, with a full-payment window
- Cancellation policy windows with a customer preview
- Season schedules with per-departure capacity, days, and cutoffs
- Per-departure capacity override from the calendar
- Live, Visible to customers, and Accept inquiries per activity
- Draft activities you can book by phone before they're public
- Pricing is by the person, with flat options for private trips. There's no demand-based or fill-rate pricing.
- Changing a price never re-prices bookings already made.
- Lowering a departure's capacity below what's booked cancels nobody; it just stops further sales.
Can I charge less for bigger groups?
Yes. Group Discounts adds price breaks by party size, and the whole party gets the rate for its size. Youth are charged the youth rate regardless of the break.
How do I sell a private trip?
Add a Booking Option with a flat price, the guests included, a per-extra-guest price, and the seats it reserves. Guests pick it next to the per-person rate, and the reserved seats come off sale.
Can one date have different capacity?
Yes. Open the departure on the calendar and edit its capacity. The schedule keeps its default for every other date, and the Override badge reminds you which one you changed.
Can I take bookings for something that isn't public yet?
Yes. A draft activity can be booked by phone and shows in reports, but never appears on your booking page or calendar until you turn on Visible to customers and Live.
